We are pleased to announce a special scholarship opportunity for students from our MOU partner institutions in the United States to study Chinese in Taiwan for 3 weeks. If you are not a MOU school student, you are also eligible to apply. This program is sponsored by the Ministry of Education of Taiwan and hosted by Soochow University (東吳大學) through its Chinese Language Center. It is a collaborative project with our counterpart institution in the United States.

Scholarship Details:

• Scholarship amount: NT$6,000 per week (total NT$18,000, or US$600, for a three-week program)

• Method of obtaining the scholarship: If accepted, pay the full tuition and claim the scholarship later, subject to specific conditions.

• Location: Shilin District, Taipei City, Taiwan

• Duration: January 4th to 24th, 2026.
  

• Number of spots: 3 to 5 students, subject to availability, coordinated with the US partner school

• Application deadline: September 30, 2025
